We are aware that there are issues in the driver related to scanning for
access points and associating to them. We plan to address as many of these
issues as possible in the next release.
There have been a lot of changes between r1518 and r1695, including
several HAL updates. May I ask how you found r1518 to work? Did you just
randomly pick an older revision, or was there anything that made you
believe it should work?
Do you have further information about the APs MadWifi fails to associate
to? Product name, vendor, firmware version probably?
Do you think you can help with narrowing down the revision that "broke"
MadWifi for your use? This would require a binary-search-like trial-and-
error testing, until the revision in question has been found. It would be
some work, but definitely would help us in getting these issues fixed
soon.
