I reverted r1497 and get oops too. BUT when i using this sequence (without
r1497) to change the MAC:

ifconfig wifi0 up
ifconfig wifi0 down
ifconfig wifi0 hw ether 00:11:22:33:44:55
}}}
all working fine :) It seems something in the HAL is screwed because in
the code is no logical reason for an oops, and it worked fine with with
one of the oldest HALs. Someone should try it with macchanger, but do
first that UP/DOWN hack.
