Ticket #646 describes scan results being delayed to wpa_supplicant due to
the wireless event not being sent. Sounds the same to me. I reported the
bug against the 0.9.1 code-base, not 0.9.2 ( r1693? ).
I recently tested with just r1664 applied to 0.9.1, and it does fix the
problem, so I'm pretty sure we're seeing the same thing.
The patch against 0.9.1 that we're running with is described in #646 and
since it's a bit of a hack ( ie. I hard-code manual roaming mode ), I
haven't attached it to the ticket.
If the patch described in this ticket is applied ( ie. backing our r1664
), I'm back to square one and need to continue running with our current
patch.
