Please note that "HAL" in this context does not refer to the
[http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/hal freedesktop HAL], but to the
[wiki:About/HAL Atheros HAL]. Filing a bug over at freedesktop.org for
this issue neither helps nor makes sense :)
