I want to repeat this again. Install mandriva 2008, install the
ndiswrapper 1.49 rpm found at
ftp://fr2.rpmfind.net/linux/MandrakeCooker/cooker/i586/media/main/release/ndiswrapper-1.49-2mdv2008.1.i586.rpm
(or according to your system) and it will work!. Before Mandriva 2008, i
had installed on my laptop a lot of distros without success (believe me,
there were a lot), the only one that worked for me was Mandriva 2008
(sound, wireless, screen, etc. -except touchpad).
