 You may also try to tune wpa_supplicant config: ap_scan=2, and use
 explicit security configuration. Check wpa_supplicant home page for more
 info.

 It is most propably related to passive mode. In passive mode, Probe
 requests are not sent by Station.
 G allows probes, but for example A mode in most of the European countries
 does not (FCC Regulation allows probes, since there is no DFS requirement
 yet (US)).

 Does anyone know if it's against the standard to use probes in regulation
 where DFS is required.
