Obviously a bad idea.

supported architectures and will be integrated well in MadWifi (no more
patching required). It's been worked on very hard, to get rid of a few
last bugs before the solution is made available. Please be patient for a
little longer.
First off, thanks for the reply, I was expecting my post to be deleted
straight away...
Ok, I was under the impression that ID was only for the 5007 (I should
have known better as my own is reported as 5006eg) I was just looking for
some way to differentiate between the working and not so we could
eliminate the whole "it works but it doesn't" problem.
As for patience, I know I'm trying... I could always run 32bit and apply
the patch and all that, but for now I'll stick with this giant cheapo usb
adapter sticking out of my laptop.
I know you guys don't want to throw a date of availability out there as
you're relying on a third party and we all know reliability decreases
exponentially with the number of parties involved in a project.
Oh, and thanks for the work you've done so far, it is much apprerciated
Thanks to you this usb dongle works, the pci card in my desktop works, and
soon the card in this laptop will work. Thanks again.
