Comment (by anonymous):

I've been trying to get my AR2425 to work with the '''Fedora 9''' 2.6.26.3
kernel using this code, and, while the device is detected, it fails to
detect any wireless signals, and, when an attempt to force it to connect
to a known AP, the wireless base station fails to detect any signal from
 the laptop.

The same code, compiled for the '''Fedora 9''' 2.6.25 kernels'''''' works
with no problem. It is, in fact, what I'm using to create this message.

I note that this problem is, operationally at least, identical to the
problem the ath5k driver has with the 5007 (i.e., AR2425) chip set.

My "solution" for now is to stay with the 2.6.25 kernels. (I'd try
'''ndiswrapper''', but it seem broken on 2.6.26 as well. Not relevant for
this discussion, but perhaps of interest to some.)
