Thanks everyone. So, you now have a report panel about the files available to translate, and their status: http://www.mageia.org/langs/report.php
The code behind it is... awful, and slow, but it works and gives you a first insight. On the left, you'll have the available .lang files in English, and from left to right, their status in each currently activated locale for the website. You can get extra details about missing/untranslated strings by clicking on the link in the adhoc box. New .lang files will grow the list as I migrate the code in the website framework.
