hello list, i'd like to include figures with transparent background in my slides using pdflatex. i convert png's to pdf using imagemagick (downloaded yesterday, should be the latest version), adding the transparent background. however, there's a catch: while adding the transparency works well, the colors of the pdf look pale when compared to the initial png.
