The only reason it doesn't mind is that there is a backward compatibility
mode, from IM version 5 days. However while this mode works, it does
not do things in a specific order or even have the expected results.
basically doing things that way is taking 'pot luck'.
OK, thanks for explaining this to me, you're very patient! I do think
that the documentation could be clearer, though. The usage pages
aren't easy to navigate to from the main webpage, and I appreciate
a reference page with paramater formats etc. Your usage pages contain
an order of magnitude more information though, much appreciated.
Documentation has often been a problem, and yes that would be an error
as it is nonsensical.
Can you send me a copy of the duc00014.jpg image as I think your image
is corrupt.
As I said - I can do what I want with -chop 50x0, I was just trying
to point out what I thought was a mistake in the docs.
