Do you have a pointer to the image with the problem. Preferably
A cropped version as the above generates a very BIG result, which looks
fine on my system (latest pre-release beta)
Also prehaps montage is not the best solution...
try...
convert -filter "Point" -resize 5400 \
inf_mor_w.png inf_mor_e.png +append 2km.png
