Ok, this is just getting screwy. With the latest version of IM, if I run this command:
convert N048W093.sm.tif N048W093.sm.png

I get a black image. Attached are both the input (zipped) and output. Are you able to reproduce this bug?

Is there a good way of doing a 'clean install' to make sure I'm not interacting with old, incompatible, libraries that are somewhere?
