Yes, I think I understood this but the trouble is that although this works well in the simple cases (i.e. one text part + one or more binary attachments) it is unclear if/how it will work for the complicated cases (i.e. a multipart/mixed message containign one multipart/alternative couple of text and html, then an attachment, then another text part - just what should be considered an attachment here?). Anyhow, we could surely expand the $attach template macro in some useful way. I don't have time to think about it now as, in any case, I won't implement it soon (with a backlog I have I'll be glad if I get to it before the summer...) but could you please enter a wish about it in the bug tracker? It would at least remind me to add the "Fwd with attachments" template as a standard one.
