I do rememeber this one. Ok, so now I at least know who I'm dealing with!

Yes, I think it is a wxWindows problem. But this doesn't explain how to
fix it :-(

Could you please add this remark to the bug report? I agree that it makes
sense.

Sorry, what do you mean by inconsistent behavior?

Could you please find an example of a rule which fails to work?

Normally it shouldn't be moved, i.e. when you apply the filters manually
they messages deleted by them are not expunged automatically (so that you
could undo the damage). But if another periodic update comes just at that
moment, they will indeed be deleted.

:-( This is really bad, I don't remember when I last had a crash when
using Mahogany myself so I hoped it wouldn't crash during the normal use
for the others. Apparently I was mistaken... It probably is related to
losing connection when it doesn't expect it - although it's still not
supopsed to crash in this case, of course.

The problem is the first message - why did it lose connection? Maybe the
default network timeouts are too small (how "far" in the network sense is
your server)?

 Look at the statusbar :-)

But a better icon would surely be welcome. Just don't count on me doing it
myself...
