 Ok, I'm impressed. But the problem is not there -- even if such amazing
performance is possible, it shouldn't be needed to ever download 20640
headers. Mahogany is supposed to only get the headers you see on the screen
as this is all you need. Obviously, it decides that this is not enough for
your NNTP folder but I don't know why. An obvious explanation is that
sorting/threading is used -- in this case, it has to download everything.
