I think I myself will not change this setting very often, maybe just one time ;-) I personally would prefer that it can be set in the preferences and that there is a shortcut for the command "Edit/Preferences". Another solution (I do not know how complicated this is to implement ...): 1) A user wants to create a folder 2) A dialogue opens where he is asked for the folder name (because the foldername is always needed) 3) The beginner can click on "Next" and stays in the wizard; but there is a second button "Finish using defaults"; default is ... filename=foldername At this point I have another question: Sometimes I want to create a folder in the (Mahogany) tree but the corresponding file does exist. This does not seem to be possible. I have to move the mails from outside Mahogany. Either by renaming the existing file to the newly created file or by moving each mail from one to the other folder using external tools. Could Mahogany ask ... "Use existing file with xx existing mails?" ... and then use this file instead of complaining about the existence of the file? I like to say that Mahogany is already very useful for me but we can have wishes, isn't it :-)) Roland -- Roland Bauer http://www.fff.at/contact/ ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.NET email is sponsored by: SourceForge Enterprise Edition + IBM + LinuxWorld = Something 2 See! http://www.vasoftware.com _______________________________________________ Mahogany-Users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mahogany-users
