I've seen the question for permission.
And yes, this speeded up my decision to push it out the way it is.
(I'm afraid that the remaining "10%" will take more than 90% of my time
already spent on that...
And in addition, I pushed some other things down on my priority stack,
which now start to get rather urgent....)
(Could you download both files ok this time ?)

I'm mostly hoping for the native German speakers....

Yes, got that. (I _think_ I got the meaning of all those words. But I'm
searching for a clear (and short !) german word for it)
But getting another look at the context will make things easier I hope...

Ah. So I have to recheck. I missed it here...

I can well imagine, that there are so many tings to consider, that this
gets lost sometimes. Then I will step in to remind you ;-)

"Der" vs. "Die" (and this can't be stuffed into the %s-part)

The "usual" cure. Two seperate sentences.
1. "The selected message is %u Kbytes long which is more than the...
2. "The selected messagepart is %u Kbytes long which is more than the...
Then those problems can be sorted out indepent in the translation

Ok, accepted.

I haven't seen the messages right now. But this should cure it.

The message catalog seems to be found. (German translations e.g. in the
choose-file-dialog. I've seen this, because I discovered one funny
translation here and at first glance thought it to be my mistake...)

I will do so.
BTW: Could the compose window be affected by a similar problem ?
I just noticed that the drop-down lists (To/CC/BCC...) aren't translated,
although the translations are in the .po-file.

You mean a patch for the messages _in_ _the_ _source_ _files_ ??
I will make a note. (In the meantime I (try to) fix it in the translation.
(and marking it in the po-file for the source-fix later on)

Forget about it. I was confused by the behaviour of the drafts folder of
using mark and delete instead of move it to the trash. (see below)

This seems to be set to 'use trash'. But it still seems to mark the
messages instead of moving them to the trash.

Ah, ok.

----------
No, I don't think so. At least there is each time just one source-reference
in the .po-file; (see above)
----------
Ah, rats, I just saw it ! So forget about that proposal. (And I feeled _that_
smart ;-)
(So this is stuffed into the class itself and than reused - never thought
of that !)
I'll change that back.

No, I would like a static string in in front of the drop-down list, to make
clear what it is.
Something like this:
[Adressbook Icon] Identity: [cat]
======== [dog]
[bird]
> Thanks again!
Thanks for a great program !
(And the first one to push me to try to make a "real" contribution (more
than just bug reports and some patches))
And thanks for the fixes according to my suggestions !
