I do not know why, but since some hours it works again.
As you can see from the logfiles of my former postings, I really got the error
and could send the message later with the 
same configuration ... really ;-) I always got the testmails. But
I could not get my outgoing messages into the Outbox folder.

I think the settings were ok for the last days. But only with "Resend" I was
able to get a mail into the "Outbox". Sending from the Outbox then was never
a problem.

Sorry, I cannot be more precise ... Wouldn't it be a good idea to have
an optional "verbose" mode for verbose logging to the logfile?
