Try hitting the 'Return' key after you have entered the address. And
then you will be able to enter other addresses, and choose for each of
them if it must be 'To', 'Cc' or 'Bcc'.

There are even other choices, the most interesting being 'Fcc', which
saves your outgoing message in the designated folder.
