 This is however a real problem -- I just don't see a good way to keep
different configurations in sync in the long term. I'm *very* interested in
this myself so we'll definitely have something along these lines soon but
almost surely not in .65 because it is promising to be quite complicated to
implement.

 BTW, any ideas for smart synchronization are welcome!
