Version 0.65.0 'Claire' built with wxWindows 2.5.0
Release build (compiled at Aug 14 2003, 23:29:52)

I am seeing some behavior that I have both questions and suggestions
about. In no particular order:
1 - On a fairly regular basis, Mahogany decides that as it filters my
IMAP Inbox to local file folders (MH or MBox format) it should
duplicate messages randomly from 2 to 150+ times. This is
repeatable,
but happens with one or more filters each day in a pattern that I
cannot discern. Is there any way to add a "remove duplicates"
standard filter to compensate for this?
2 - When trying to delete these (sometimes thousands) of messages, I
often have to wait for Mahogany to ring the "New Mail" bell on the
Deleted Items folder on the IMAP server by however many messages I am
deleting (on deleting 5000 messages, this can take up to half an hour
and runs the CPU to 100%, effectively halting all work). The only
way
I have found to disable the bell is for the entire IMAP connection
rather than the individual folders within the connection. Would it
be
possible to remove the "New Mail" notification for folders such as
"Deleted Items", "Drafts" and other "working" folders?
3 - If I have more than about 15 (for certain at 20) active folders
in
my "Quick Move" list, the last folder always falls off the list. For
example, with Blaster, Nachi, etc. running around I had a specific
"virus" folder created that sorted itself to the bottom of the list.
But I also subscribe to the Vuln-Dev list, which is nearby in the
sort
order. Trying to Quick Move to the virus folder would always attempt
to move to the Vuln-Dev folder (screenshots available if anyone wants
me to prove my statement).
4 - When writing a message, although my template is:
$CURSOR
$SIGNATURE
the cursor will inevitably move to the last line, last column at the
first keystroke in the text area, despite being seen in the correct
location before typing.
5 - If I reply, and select "Do not include" for the original message,
my signature is also not included and I have to manually enter any
signature text. If I choose to include the original message, the
cursor/signature behavior is as #4.
6 - Some of the lists I receive are quite volumnous. Usually I will
archive these once a month to save on the sort/open times for each
folder. On trying to create a filter that would move files received
before a certain date, I was unsuccessful. I tried every Windows
date
format I could find (mm/dd/yy, mm/dd/yyyy, dd mmm yy, etc.) and a few
attempts at expressions (Win32 regex, *NIX regex, pcre) and each
time
the filter would move all the messages in a folder. Could a
default
"Archive" function be added that would find the correct received date
and move all messages older than the specified date to a designated
folder?
If I'm missing something, need to send configs, etc. please let me
know.
Thanks,
