Bonjour, Mahogany is a very good thing.
Here a suggestion of integration with the file system : Is it possible to extend the 'Drag & Drop' feature also between Mahogany and the system explorer (Win Explorer or Explorer or whatever) in my case). I think this goes in the right direction of integrating mail objects and other objects storage, and to avoid duplicate storage and tracking. (See MS Longhorn features roadmap !) Going this way, it would be good of course to make easy the opening of a mahogany message form the System explorer interface (context menu - extension association etc.) Further even : what about creating file-system based message-folders, outside the mahogany database ? In this scenario, the mail client would only concentrate on a few small folders for transient messages.
