I've never seen this but I did see a similar bug with a "phantom" message appearing in the INBOX when a new message arrives while another one is being deleted. And yes, this is a really bad bug, something is seriously wrong here. The only problem is that I already spent literally days tracking it and I just can't see anything wrong in the code and I can't reproduce it at will, it only happens very, very rarely (like maybe once in a month on average) here. I'll try to muster forces to have another debugging session one of these days...
