There is an 'Account less Interent Access' scheme by BSNL. The 'account
less access' can be made through your phone no. only for which you're
registering. The username will be '4842346232'; 2346232 is my phone no. and you
can give a password of your choice. Even if you know my password you can
access the net with this username through my phone only. The net access bill
will come as a seperate section in your phone bill. The internet charge is 10
paise / min, i.e. Rs.6 / hr. The telephone charge, if you connect between 10:30
PM and 6:30 AM will be Rs.1.25 / 10 mins, i.e Rs.7.50 / hr. So the total charge
adds up to Rs.13.50 / hr between 10:30 PM and 6:30 AM. Not bad, since it has
speeds on par with other connections.
But KLUGians, is this news from the last century ? and please do correct
me if I'am wrong.
