Hello Friends ,
i am happy to see the activities happening in our LUG and the awareness it
creates about gnu linux and open source software .
i wish we could also do some activities to help unprivileged children in
computer awareness . there are lots of school many run by the govt and
orphanages which don't have means to spend on computers . and there are
many company's and institutions who discard their old Pentiums and celerons
, of which we can use as ltsp clients and servers . if we can form a trust
under our lug to collect such hardware and distribute to the needy it will
be a very nice effort from our part .
