Azad, One more thing that I just noticed. The support dates for Ubuntu 7.04 expired on 19th October 2008.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Ubuntu_releases I think this means that the repositories for that release have been taken off the main Ubuntu servers. Thus it will be hard for you to configure your computer if you do not upgrade.
