You are talking about your convinience and not your freedom. People who are supporting non-free software have a habit of lumping freedom and convinience together. Generally they won't come out and say so. They say "This computer gives me the freedom to do this particular job". It is not a freedom. It is a convinience. (Rony, I'm sorry if it hurts you. But I have to say this) Also Proprietary softwares are not even competing with free software. Atleast they should compete with free software. Then only we can compare the advantages and disadvantages of them and choose one of them. Otherwise the chioce will always be free software.
