There is an old Malayalam proverb "Kadicha pambinae kodu thannae visham
ekdukuka"
Non mallus it mean to extract the venom from from the victim by the
snake which bit him,
Most users,especially in India don't have authentic MS products and
very few % due to
lac of awareness,unknowingly buy them along with laps,so my point is we
have to
contact M$ to do anti piracy raid, among desktop / pc vendors , which
will force them
either to stop shipping M$ windows along with purchase and use free
software or to get a
proper license for M$ product.
Only reason why M$ windows is used by users is bcus
they are born to windows world by purchase,even me 4years ago when i
brought my
pc i were a newbie i got used to M$ windows (btw not now,windows is
alean for me).
kerala to be a FOSS state then
[1] Schools but take away MS DOS,MS windows syllabus
from academics,14yrs ago when i were a kid,its made
sense because GNU/Linux or other kernels where not
mature enough,but now its not the case.
[2] People must be made aware what thier freedom
are wrt software
[3] Students must implicitly speak ls/man than
dir/help by the way they are taught.( i mean this should be the
impact)
[5] There should be attractive,high profile games/
students tools on Free platform.
[6] Focus must be on young people than grown up.
Summery is we must focus on students than grown up people,main reason
is they are
the nxgen they will continue our legacy as it were done on M$
windows.They
will implicitly demand free software,while use,and purchase.
