RHEL and Apple are following differrent business models. Redhat uses us as a testbed where as apple does not do that for all its products. The problem is not that GPL Forces people to share but in doing so it does not fit into the category of "Free Software" it is all about control and politics as it progresses. Here is what you get from the mouth of glibc developer Ulrich. http://www.xent.com/pipermail/fork/2001-August/002942.html and why others are changing from GPL to BSD/MIT/ISC type of licencing http://www.linuxjournal.com/article/5935 GPL is a kind of monopoly in disguise but few people recognize it for what it is! --Siju _______________________________________________ Indian Libre User Group Cochin Mailing List http://www.ilug-cochin.org/mailing-list/ http://mail.ilug-cochin.org/mailman/listinfo/mailinglist_ilug-cochin.org #[email protected]
