Sure you love your freedom but you don't love the freedom of others.
You give because you can force others to give back. No problem!
Other's freedom is a restriction to you because you are profit minded.
That is exactly what i wanted to say.

Where as BSD gives freely expecting nothing in return and makes the
world better.

Well I am stopping because a discussion like this and "emacs vs vi"
and such never ends and that was not the intention of the original
thread. I just wanted people to be aware of the trend that has started
among many developers in recognizing the folly of using GPL if they
really wanted to give their software for free.

GPL acheives its ends true. only thing it is not free!
