It appears it's not just SpamAssassin, but MailScanner. Is it possible
that somehow this managed to mess up the cc-co-owner address? Are
there any regexps that might split cc-co-owner into cc and co-owner
instead of cc-co and owner?

You still need to look at the maillog on lists.ibiblio.org.
