"Immensely"? I'm not terribly optimistic. I personally want to use git, but moving to git has not appreciably changed the equation for Emacs (which also made the move from Bazaar to git recently). The barrier here is the same as for Emacs, I'm afraid: we're not sexy bling, we're not a game, and nobody gets filthy rich just by contributing a cloudy improvement to Mailman. And unlike Emacs, I can't recall anyone ever saying "I would contribute to Mailman if the main repo was git." ------------------------------------------------------ Mailman-Users mailing list Mailman-Users@python.org https://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/mailman-users Mailman FAQ: http://wiki.list.org/x/AgA3 Security Policy: http://wiki.list.org/x/QIA9 Searchable Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/mailman-users%40python.org/ Unsubscribe: https://mail.python.org/mailman/options/mailman-users/archive%40jab.org
