Hi Michael,

Thanks for your reply!

That make sense!
When I deleted the email the second time, the email font became red; which probably indicated it’ll be removed from the trash folder.

I didn’t create a new smart mailbox, what I did is selected the source mailbox and edit the settings (thus there was no option to exclude the trash folder): https://imgur.com/aSvwR1s
But your suggestion gave me the idea to use a smart mailbox instead.

Where can I find this ‘folder name’? as I could not find that option: https://imgur.com/WspbfKa

Regards,

Jo

I guess you have also included the Trash folder in you smartmailbox

So the first delete it moves to Trash

The second delete it removes from Trash

(Try to include the folder name in to the visible columns to check where the eMail is located)

Solutions:

a) change the source for the smartmailbox to INBOX
b) exclude your TRASH folder (or simar name depending on your folders) in the smartmailbox settings.

Hi All,

I am trialing MailMate and have started to use the ‘submailboxes’ feature (to allow me seeing the inbound emails based on “From > Name”).

I noticed I need to press ‘Delete’ twice, before I am able to delete emails I selected in the ‘submailbox filter’.

Is anyone else experiencing the same thing?

Regards,

Jo
