I was expecting something to happen to the messages, not the mailbox icon! Didn’t even look there.
If you tick the option at the bottom of the colour menu – `Use Colour in Message List` – then it will also colour the messages (while they are in that mailbox, it doesn’t change their colour if you move them elsewhere).
