In all probability, it wasn't intended as one, but, probably because of
frustration, it came out looking that way.  On a public mailing list, it
was (in effect, if not on purpose) calibrated to make Rob and his
employer look bad, and damage their peers' opinion of them.  Rob did a
pretty good job, I think, of countering this in a civil manner.
