Just because having one main mail account and forward mail from auxilliary
accounts to it is more natural (you only have to look at one account) than
having a mail client configured for multiple accounts. I would rather call a
multi-account configuration a poor workaround for e-mail accounts incapable
of forwarding ;).

That proves that SPF has no point at all. Exactly because of forwarding.
