We have an option, checked by default, where we munge the Message-ID of the email that we send back to the original sender (and only them). This is to force Gmail and others to display the message sent from us (otherwise they consider it a duplicate and don't show it). Our users really like to see their message returned from the list, as a way to know that it was actually sent successfully. > 2.
