Hey folks, Apologies, was on the road for the holiday weekend, and didn't check this list.
Gioele was able to get a hold of me, and I'll resolve their request/issue shortly. Generally speaking, if you're having problems delivering to "comcast.net", you can use delivery-supp...@cable.comcast.com. If you're seeing inbound attacks to your own systems, the source depends on where I'd route you. If you want to supply data, I'm happy to give it to the proper group (which could be me, or our CSA group, or somewhere else). Feel free to email me directly as well. -- Alex Brotman Sr. Engineer, Anti-Abuse & Messaging Policy Comcast -----Original Message----- From: mailop <mailop-boun...@mailop.org> On Behalf Of Paul Ebersman via mailop Sent: Monday, May 26, 2025 7:44 PM To: Edwardo Garcia <wdgar...@gmail.com> Cc: mailop@mailop.org Subject: [EXTERNAL] Re: [mailop] Comcast throttling and marking as spam wdgarc88> We do not have contract with spamhaus so are concerning it wdgarc88> might violate some limit and spamhaus are too valuable, so now wdgarc88> we place full route filter on originate AS7922 as preventing wdgarc88> teachingmx-ins is better cure alround Your network but be aware that the legit comcast email MTAs are also in 7922, so you will have trouble corresponding with the comcast email folks if you do this. _______________________________________________ mailop mailing list mailop@mailop.org https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://list.mailop.org/listinfo/mailop__;!!CQl3mcHX2A!E9lG99JFox3EXPqt3FtZG0V4kCMfYH1ktRL0hDQHB_mCVP4jz6o6bq5Xh8Lt_1amelEBtu1wWMNJwUSaXoI$ _______________________________________________ mailop mailing list mailop@mailop.org https://list.mailop.org/listinfo/mailop
