Dear all,

I respond to my own mail, but this answer is meant for all of you:
thanks a lot for all that input and feedback. I am positively
overwhelmed.

After all the abuse complaints I did in my work life, I never
experienced such a nonsense (and rude) answer – while I was 95% sure
that the abuse team's answer is wrong.

I was genuinely interested in this feedback, that I received from this
ML. That they are understaffed or underpayed definitely could be a
reason… I was unsure if I did write to the correct abuse mail address,
but am also used to them acting accordingly and forwarding otherwise.

That I asked this question here was an exception to the rule (which is
to just block such senders), because I was so surprised by that reaction
to my abuse complaint.

Also thanks for the kind words on trying not to overthink/burnout. I
have my go-to friends and contacts to ask such questions, but don't want
to bother those too much nor too often. That just passes on stress.

Also, I'll consider adjusting our SPF policy.
