First up, I want to give Ruben a big pat on the back for getting Mailplane
to work with Google Gears and, more importantly, the Gmail Offline Access
'Labs' feature.
And now, onto my question...

I just downloaded the new beta (Build 956), and realised that Mailplane is
no longer asking me for my password upon starting up (I've chosen not to
save my email account passwords to the keychain, hence having to type them
in when I want to access any of my Gmail acocunts). Instead, it immediately
opens up my email and shows me my online inbox - which was a rather
unpleasant surprise.

However, in the drop-down menu, the currently-opened Gmail account is being
shown as "offline" (the silhouette with the red "X"), along with the "sign
in" menu option. This information doesn't seem to correspond with the
current state of my Gmail account at all.

Plus, when I try to choose the "Sign in..." option for any of my other Gmail
accounts, it does not work.

Therefore, my questions are:

- Why was Mailplane able to open up my Gmail account when it doesn't even
have my password info stored in the keychain?

- Why is the current account login status not reflective of what it
currently is? Is the drop-down menu feature broken somehow?

FWIW, when I was trying to log in to my other Gmail accounts using the "Sign
in..." menu item, I was actually performing a Offline storage
synchronisation.
