Well, after having used 2.1 Beta for the past few days, and with one of my accounts properly synchronised, here are the remaining issues that I can see: - Drop-down menu: the "Sign in..." option for each of the Gmail accounts listed does not work
- Drop-down menu: The account status icon for each account is not reflective of their true state - which also presents the problem of them not displaying any new email status or summaries. Right now, I am logged into 3 out of 7 of the Gmail accounts hosted by Mailplane, but all of which are showing as "offline" when they are actually logged in. The latter problem IS of concern. Because of this, I now need to log in (or switch to) these accounts manually and see if there are any new mails waiting - instead of the indicator giving me a "new email" count and a summary of the first three (up to) emails received. Ruben: am aware that you know about the erroneous sign-in state problem. Just thought I'd also give you a bit more insight into this... One question: If using Google Gears and Offline Gmail, is Mailplane restricted to only this feature for one Gmail account only? 2009/2/2 Ruben Bakker <[email protected]> > Hi Kinny, > > > On Sat, Jan 31, 2009 at 6:55 PM, Kinny Cheng <[email protected]> wrote: > >> First up, I want to give Ruben a big pat on the back for getting Mailplane >> to work with Google Gears and, more importantly, the Gmail Offline Access >> 'Labs' feature. > > > Thanks! > >> >> And now, onto my question... >> >> I just downloaded the new beta (Build 956), and realised that Mailplane is >> no longer asking me for my password upon starting up (I've chosen not to >> save my email account passwords to the keychain, hence having to type them >> in when I want to access any of my Gmail acocunts).
