Yes, I can confirm your observations. Using the arrow keys result in the
same behaviour.
Meanwhile, I am working with Apple developer support to find out why Safari
works while Mailplane doesn't.
Here are a couple of workarounds:
- enter search term and tab to the search button. Press space or enter on
the button to search.
- enter search term and press enter. click search field. press 'a' or any
alphanumeric key. use delete as usual.
