I'm not sure if this has always been the case, but I'm having a problem using the Gmail search box in Mailplane. I can type in the box to do a search, but when I hit the Delete key to clear the contents and refine my search, Mailplane sees this as a navigation instruction and it begins to navigate to older page views. It's very frustrating.
The only way to continue to use the search box when this happens is to highlight the contents before typing again. This works even without doing an actual search. If I just click in the box and hit Delete, sure enough, it navigates to the previous screen. I can't find this issue in the discussions. Am I the only one experiencing this?
