I experienced the same problem after Gmail improved Offline Gmail. I had to
reset my offline cache:
- Stop Mailplane
- In Finder go to ~/Library/Application Support/Google
- Move "Google Gears for Safari" to the Trash (or to another location)
- Restart Mailplane and click the "Offline 0.4" link to re-download your
messages.
