No, do not disturb is not checked. It had been - I purposefully used that
feature for a few days and now even if unchecking it doesn't make a
difference.

Yes, growl works with other applications just fine and there is the unread
message badge in the icon.

However, the sound seems to be intermittent. It'll work for a few messages
and then it doesn't for a few messages. Then it'll work again. It seems to
repeat this pattern.

Growl worked yesterday for a few messages but then stopped. I checked
growl's preferences, stopped and restarted growl, restarted mailplane -
nothing worked.
