Any update on this, or is it a lost cause? I only ask because the feature remains as a checkbox in MailPlane with no note or warning that it doesn't actually work. Been this way for months now, and it's just confusing matters. Perhaps it should just be removed until it's actually working properly, safely and enable-able...
