Hi Annie and Syd (and anyone else affected),

We've just added a tool to Rapportive to help us diagnose this
problem. Please could you go through these steps at your convenience:

1. Make sure you've got the latest version of Rapportive, by choosing
Mailplane → Reset Gmail Session from the menu.
2. Use Gmail as normal, until you see the problem of the sidebar not appearing.
3. Click this link: https://rapportive.com/logs — which will open a
dialog box containing Rapportive's internal details about what
happened.
4. Copy (Cmd-C) the contents of that box and paste it into an email to
[email protected]

I have a suspicion that it might be something to do with proxies. So
if you're using a proxy on your network connection, could you also
mention that in the email please? Thanks! :)

Martin
