After the issue occurs, I'm unable to do anything in Mailplane,
including save the draft, send a message, connect to chat. The
session seems to have died, and the refresh button in the toolbar is
disabled. It requires quitting and restarting to proceed.

I have turned off flash for now, and then tried to attach two word
files and a keynote file. When I tried to save/send, I got "Your
action was unsuccessful. Please try again."

(Another data point: before I turned off Flash, it failed when
attaching a Keynote file.)
