I've been having the same problem the past couple of weeks or so. When I try to drag and drop a file attachment, Mailplane pops up a message in large font that says it is going to create a *new* message and attach files. It doesn't in fact do that - doesn't create a new message, nor does it attach the file to the message I'm currently editing (which is what I want)
